The new film featuring performances by Amber Barton (The Response Dance Co.)

and Josh Martin (605 Collective) had two international premieres this spring.

Shot on location in Death Valley, the film is an evocative examination of a

troubled relationship.  The beautiful and haunting score by Vince Jones and

cinematography by Matteo Di Iorio bring this project to a new level.

GONE (REMEMBERING WHERE YOU CAME FROM) PREMIERES AT CANNES

The second film in the trans/PORT series premieres at Cannes in 2008.  This

film adapts the powerful solo by Noam Gagnon from the Holy Body Tattoo’s

touring production of “Running Wild” into a WWII era film aesthetic,

situating it in a surreal psychological space that represents a contemporary

reflection on the contrast between old fears and the new normal.

AUTO EROTICA REPRESENTS CANADA AT CANNES

Short modern dance film goes all the way to Cannes, 2006, being selected as one of ten

international finalists for an online competition.  While it didn’t win the top prize, it was

the most popular film in the competition, receiving the most viewings.  Thanks to everyone

who voted for this ‘little film that could’.  Your support is appreciated, as always.
